Waiting to Dance - a Diva's Weekly Challenge
Having two new-to-me tangles this week gave me something to distract me while waiting for a procedure at the doctor's office and then some more while recovering that evening. Needless to say I have pages and pages of ideas in my sketchbook but this was the one that wanted to be on the tile this morning. The challenge was to use Phicops and DivaDance in a duotangle, that is two and only two tangles. I hope you enjoy it!

Sure beats reading magazines from last year, doesn't it! You should post your sketches sometime. I'm fascinated by how people work through ideas and then seeing the final product. Of course, I talk big. I'd be terrified to post my sketches. They'd lock me up as a crazy woman!
ReplyDeleteI do keep a studio journal and have just joined the new Flickr group StudioArtJournals. I'm crazy busy right now trying to get things together for some classes I'm teaching later this month (ack!! This month??!!) but I hope to get caught up posting my journal entries soon. My Flickr handle is DitaMenc.
Deletenicely done. I love phicops in a circle
ReplyDeleteI've never tried Phicops in a circle, but will do that after seeing your tile. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLooks like your Phicops is digging in. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteImagine if you had been doing your tile in the waiting room of a psychiatrist's office. The doc might try to use it for diagnostic purposes.
ReplyDelete;-) In any case, you made excellent use of your wait time. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow----hmmm. Nice tile.
