Sorry To Tangle and Run....

Whew! That was a long week! The usual classes on Tuesday, a stitch-in at my house on Wednesday, teaching on Thursday evening on top of my normal classes, dinner guests on Friday, a party at our home on Saturday, and a workshop on Sunday...<pant, pant, pant>...And then I had to get my portfolio ready for review for today!

This was a nice relaxing Diva Challenge today which was exactly what I needed. I fully intended to do this on a black tile but somehow the black Post-its my friend Sabrina gave me a while back decided they wanted to play with the Munchin tangle. On the second and third ones I used a black Glaze pen by Sakura which is a really fun look.

I'm keeping it short this week so I can catch up on things left undone from last week. May all your tangles be on paper!

  2. Such a great idea, to use a black glaze pen! It makes the third tile look very special in combination with the white pen.

  4. I know this weeks where you are so busy that you nearly do not have any time to relax a little bit. For that I love Zentangle and you show it perfectly! Three little pieces with a fantastic result. The last one is great - the idea to mix black and white on grey paper. Lovely!

  10. I hope your week proved less exhausting than it sounded. I also am quite taken with your third tile. I need to look for a black glaze pen. It made for some subtle, but lovely contrasts.

  11. Your black and white tile is just, for lack of a more descriptive word, fun! I love how the black and white seem to play with each other in this tile. Your first tile is very nicely done with the subtle shading on it. Nice work!
